Festival Timings

Never been to us before...........

Bromsgrove Folk Festival has been described as small and friendly, bijou even, but it is so much more than is enormous in heart and aspiration. We have a pub for sessions (and beer of course), a large camping field (open from 2.00pm on Thursday), a 300 seater Main Marquee for “up close and personal” concerts, a MiniMarquee (seating about 120) for smaller concerts, singarounds, etc., and excellent toilet facilities. We do not overlap acts between venues so that, if you have paid to see a particular act, you will see that act....without having to queue for an hour before the concert to make sure you get in (revolutionary or what?). In and around the site, there are many other diverse activities to keep you occupied the whole weekend including things for the kids to do

Still crazy after all these years...............

The Festival has grown over the years since that first one day affair at our original home at The Hop Pole, when the marquee we ordered was bigger than the pub garden(!) but we are still dedicated to bringing the best in folk, roots and acoustic music, from these shores and beyond, to a field at the back of a Worcestershire pub.........

.....and still maintaining our original ethos of  “better not bigger”

Bromsgrove is so much more than a series of concerts with headline artists. Club singers and budding artists are encouraged to add to the Bromsgrove Experience with singarounds, open mics, and the like including, of course, the legendary sessions in the pub bar....then there is the Ukulele Workshop (BUMS) and the Festival Choir (BOTOMS)

From 2pm on Thursday to around 5pm on Sunday (with occasional lapses for sleep!) this Festival is yours...........treat it like your own, look after it, nurture it, enjoy it and open your heart to it. Whether you're a regular or a newcomer, you'll be given the same warm Worcestershire welcome and hospitality.....and you will be on first name terms with more like minded souls, and have made so many more friends, than when you arrived
